Shock Replacement

Well when the front end gave out because the bearings weren't greased (see earlier posts) when the car was towed onto the flat bed truck the front shocks blew out on me. These were not some cheap shocks either but Bilstein's made for lowered cars. After talking to the company that manufactured the shocks (RCI) they informed me the shock that come with my front end disc brake conversion where not the right ones and they needed to be shorter. Below is a picture showing the shock on the left that came in the kit and the shock on the right that was recommended. As you can see the right one is quite a bit shorter.
